Dangit I realized I forgot to post fourth of july !!! Why I am trying to get all the posts even if though they are so late is because one day I want to print this up for a journal... so here is our fourth of July 2011 :) We always start with going to the Cowboy Poetry this year only the girls went with Ty and I.. it was fun and then we do the 4 am anvil going around Taylor on the fire truck and waking up the town so much fun. Then we head over to the station and eat breakfast..Then there is the rodeo of course .. Tons of fun to watch with the fireworks right after bull riding..here is some pictures of the fun :)

24th of July 2011 rodeo and parade

We love 24th of July in Snowflake ! The Rodeo , the parade,fireworks and the plays !! Tons of fun, one of our favorite weekends in the summer !! This year for the first time since Wacey was 5 we did not have any of our boys ride in the rodeo.. so crazy but all summer Ty had a feeling that we should not have Brenley ride a steer.. He wanted to so bad but we know that we need to follow those feelings we have .. we talked to Brenely about this and how the holy ghosts works , he agreed maybe he should not ride.. not sure if anything would of happened but there was some wild wild steers at the rodeo. very proud of Brenley making this decision..maybe next year buddy !! Kohls Ranch, Christopher Creek and Woods Canyon

In July we met up with my sister inlaw, brother inlaw and cousins over at Kohls Ranch.. There is alot of fun activities there at Kohls Ranch volleyball , basketball, shuffle board ,minature golfing,bad mitten,tennis and tons of others, there is fun little props to take pictures with and a creek where there is alot of crodads.. after some fun there we headed over to Woods Canyon Lake and did some more cro dad catching , picnic and some canoeing.. what a great day of fun they will always have these fun memories of getting together with cousins..here is tons of pictures :) I love pictures haha

Last Summer we had a blast just going out to silver creek and going fishing , we went to Woods Canyon Lake once but had more fun just at silver creek.. Little Kyri she was not scared to put the worms on the hook or she wasn't scared at all to take the fish off the hook.. They all did great fishing and a few times we took some cousins with us.. Lots of fun.. here is alot of pictures of all diffrent times of going fishing..

We had a great summer doing all kinds of fun things.. We went down to the valley in the end of June and celebrated my 40th birthday yikes I can't believe I am 40 :(:(! One of our most favorite places to go in the summer is the pointe or they call it Arizona Grand now and also go to Rustler's Roost !! Here is a few pictures of the fun.. Oh ya and Wacey invited his friend Tyler to go with us !!

Relay for Life

Back in May we got a call that they wanted our Halli to come to the Relay of Life in Show Low and for her to do a victory lap around Show Low highschool track as a Cancer Survivor.. What an awesome experience this was for Halli.. Next year we are going to join a team and walk for money for cancer patients.. This Relay for life raises money to help the people and there families during cancer finacally..They walk all night long from 6 pm to 6 am..We were not part of team this year but we still walked around the track some as a family.. Halli loved being a part of this and wants to continue to be a part of many other cancer walks hikes what ever.. Here is some pictures of our special day ...

Halli had a field trip to Walnut Canyon which is such a neat place. I was a able to go with them and I have never been there.. Halli and her friends had a blast they were so funny and the wildest ones on the bus.. :) Halli took some really cool pictures.. enjoy Halli is going to be a great photographer...

They had wrestling in Showlow this summer which was awesome to just go 20 minutes to instead of 3 hours to the valley.. the boys did great love these guys so proud of them !!! and I love watching them wrestle... so exciting :) :) :)

Easter

I love Easter ! I love teaching my kids about our savior, the resurection, and everything that happened the week before.. I also love getting together as a family and spending time together.. This year Ty got us permission to fish at the ponds in Shumway. We got together and had a great picnic, fished, hunted for Easter eggs..The night before Easter Sunday I had my kids do a little activity that teaches them about the resurection of our Savior..What a great memory we made Love great family time !

Birthdays, Family get together, dr appt. and Easter pagent

In April , Halli had a doctors appt. in the valley and we checked the date and it was the same day as the Easter Pagent in the Valley so it was perfect !! Also in April there is tons of birthdays in the Wood family so we decided to have a barbeque down at KCs and Kellee's house. My son turned the big 18 wow crazy !! I can't believe how time fly's it seems like yesterday him being a little boy playing games and taking walks with me..After the barbeque we went to the Easter Pagent which I love love love !!! Halli's appt went okay Dad took her to it this time and sat in the MRI with her wish I could of seen him sitting still for that long period of time he gets very wiggley and wanting to move.. haha.. We got our results a week later they were scary results they seen something in the MRI so we had to get blood work and wait for the results... very long long week they did not get back with me until that next Thursday Ughhhhh.. anyways the blood work came back awesome !! so the dr. is very confident that it is not a reoccuring tumor YAE !!!!! We will go in July and get a cat scan to see what it is !! It is probabally just some scar tissue in there !! :)

Wrestling in Holbrook

In April the boys wrestled in Holbrook.. They did a good job both came in second place !!! Wacey had a much bigger boy in his group of kids he had to wrestle and very strong but he did good !! He then wrestled him a few times after the match just to get some practice in. He also wrestled a boy a couple years early had beat him from cmp verde but this time he was able to beat him a couple of times which was good for his confidence and some more practice in .. Brenley wrestled one of his best friends which was sooooo hard to do they went back and forth it was really close one but he ended up winning.. He also wrestled a boy from Heber that is awesome maybe one day he can beat him but Brenley needs to learn some more moves this boy's dad is a wrestling coach and knows alot of moves but again it was great practice for them.. The girls came and watched they are great supporters of there brothers I LOVE these girls..Kyri wanted to stand on the first place spot so cute !! After the match we headed home in tons of snow in April and went to our nephews baptism .It was a very good day !!!!

The first weekend of spring break we went to a wrestling match up in Show Low.. this was the first wrestling match since the kids got injured, Wacey with his arm and Brenley with his eye.. they were so excited..and did great both came in second place.. good job boys...

Every Year the kids try to catch the leprachaun BECAUSE he is sneaky and gives kisses all over them and leaves suprises and gold candy all over the house..this is one of the favorite kids traditions.. they love it and wake up soooo early to see what there is.. here is a few pictures

Pine Wood Derby

This was Brenley's first Pine Wood Derby ! He was so excited, he looked on the internet at diffrent cars and him and his dad looked at books at Hobby Lobby and was ready to get working on it.. Brenley's cousin Garrett also was doing Pine Wood Derby his first time so Ty and his brother Dusty planned some days to work on it ... This was a fun time for the cousins and brothers.. The very first race of the night was Brenley and Garrett and they tied then tossed the coin and Brenley ended up winning.. Crazy how good both of them were.. They divided them into groups wolves, bears and weeblos and took the top 2 winners of each group then raced them.. Brenley ended up in the top 2 in the wolves and then raced and ended up 4th place.. not to bad for his first time..he also got an award most unique shape... here is some pictures of the fun..

Ground hog day and Valentines Day

Every year I try to do something special for the kids on these days.. I almost forgot Groundhogs day but luckily remembered the night before.. I made pancakes with a ground hog coming out of it and I made hot choclate and put twinkies in it to be the groundhog.. haha.. then Valentines day we had our anual breakfast with pink and red food.. I love doing this with the family they always get so excited every year..Also made an advent calendar for Valentines day each day they had to do fun things and get little gifts.. some of the stuff was write a letter to someone you love, give 5 compliments to somebody in your family, etc.. some of the gifts were valentines pencils, heart candy, ballons, etc...Also I had scouts on Valentines day so since it is Arizona's birthday so we celebrated Ariaona's borthday ....here is a few pictures.

Wacey's state wrestling

Bacj in Jan. Wacey had state wrestling. Well state was a exciting weekend.. we first went to Halli's appt. and went well. then we headed over to weight the boys in Wacey actually lost 8 pounds in one week not good at all which the results made him so drained !! :( We took them to eat that night at Texas Road House it was his friends Darius birthday so we had them put him on the saddle and sign to him that was fun.. During our wait to eat they got in a peanut war which Brenley got some in his eye and he was rubbing it all night.. the next morning we headed out to Tempe to the match and they started wrestling..He started out great winning the first 2 then the next one he lost but still in it and THEN ughh he broke his arm during the wrestling match !! What is so crazy we did not know this and he kept on wrestling now looking back at the video you can see his arm bending the whole other direction..yuck !!! that was the end very sad he worked soooo hard to go to this wrestling match but I guess we will have next year... We headed home that night and Brenley started screaming about Heber about his eye.. we got home and got him asleep and then that morning his eye was swollen shut so we had to head all the way back to the hospital in Phoenix and all that rubbing he made 2 stitches come out.. OUCh but since he was having his surgery on that Wed.. they sent us home and we had to put medicine in his eye every 2 hours day and night.. we get back home and got Wacey to the doctor and he broke his elbow and dislocated it and also tour ligaments.. He got a cast pink and purple haha it was very cool looking :) Tough luck for him but we will keep going and he will have other times to wrestle... We love you Wacey you are an awesome person !!!

Girls night out

The Byu ballet came to Snowflake and me and my girls went to watch it.. It was tons of fun we went early and got to meet some of the ballet people and eat cookies and the girls dresses up for it.. so cute ! Halli loved it and so did Kyri she danced during the whole show.. during intermission the girls was able to go on stage and dance so cute Kyri ran up there as fast as she could Halli was a little shy but then started dancing.. I am so glad we had our girls night out.

Halli's basketball

Our sweet Halli loves sports her favorite is soccer, then basketball and softball..she had a great time in basketball this year she was one of the tallest on the team so she was able to always start the game and jump it...glad she is so active we sure do love her and her fun spirit !!!

New Years Eve and Day

I know I said I am trying to go in order but I realized that I forgot New Years Eve and I will also post Wacey going to state wrestling and Oh ya basketball for our Hallicat !!! These all happened before Brenley's eye surgery all in the month of January !! Well here it New Years Eve and Day we went to Ty's brothers house Dusty and Ashlee and had great fun!! Great food and fun games.. Ty had never played spoons before Crazy huh.. He loves that game now !! On New Years Day we had tons of snow they played all day even though it was one of the most coldest day of the Year !! It was below zero almost all day !! Here is some pictures of the fun !!!

Brenley has surgery on his eye

This actually happened months ago but I am so behind and trying to catch up on my posting in order..Brenley after his injury in his eye he grew a cataract in his eye . They removed the cataract and put an artificial lense in his eye. Brenley did so good at his surgery. The doctor told him that he was going to shave off his mohack while he was in surgery so one of the first things he did was feel his head. LOL !! he so cute then he said I didn't cry mom and the second thing he did was felt his eye and he noticed that he still had a patch on his eye and he said what is this on my eye..Brenley had to fast for this surgery he did not like this at all !!! He told us before he went in surgery and he told all the nurses that he was going to Joe's Crab Shack and he was going to eat the whole bucket. When he woke up we was thinking he would not really want to eat there well we were wrong he did and yes he did eat the Whole bucket. Then after we went to Nelson's Custard with Cody.. Yummy..I asked Brenley what are you going to do if you have to diet while wrestling ? he said " my nickname is CHUNK and I am sticking to it ".. haha so funny.. His nickname is Chunk Ty's dad gave it to him because he was a very chunky baby and he has a cousin 6 months younger and he is very tall his nickname is stretch. He is not that chunky anymore but he does love food !! He has his own year supply of peanut butter just for him which he is really worried about not having food he even tells us if you don't have enough room for year supply food you can use my room just for that..
Well he is now doing really good with his eye no infection and he can see with it. He has to wear sports google while he does sports but we actually make him wear it all day because if you know my boys they don't just sit and relax they are constantly ruff housing.. So far they have worked really good we are going to get lenses the end of this month for him after an eye exam to see what kind of perscription in them.

Our sweet Halli has been doing so good in school!! Wow I can't believe it she recieved Principles list in January and Superintendents list in March plus the first quarter she recieved Superintendents list back in September I am pretty sure I posted that but just in case we are soooo proud of her !!! Superintendent's list is a total of 95% and above !! she missed it by one point when she recieved the principles list which is still awesome 92% and above !!!WE LOVE HALLI JEAN !!!!

Brenley's visitors and eye stuff !!

When Brenley came back from the hospital he had some visitors come see him which he thought was soooooo cool !!! The night we got home Bishop Willis came and seen him he also can't see out of one of his eyes. Brenley then the next day had his cousin Mason Kay come see him, the Green family, Grandma and his 1rst grade teacher which he loves sooo much..Also his cousins Garret and Damon and they took him to a movie Yogi Bear !!
Brenley has a great attitude with all of this going on to him.. He calls himself one eye willie from the movie Goonies, He told his Aunt Ashlee on the way up to the movies that when the knife came up and cut his eye he folded up that knife and put it in his pocket because those knifes are COSTLY !! LOL.. also at the movies they were getting there popcorn and there was a big group walk in and they were all staring at him he said " I can't imagine why all these people are staring at me !! ".
haha..
A couple of days later after the accident Brenley had to go back down to the valley and go to a dr. appt. So we took the whole family and headed down in the biggest storm of the year ice the whole way down ughhh.. but we made it and he had no infection which they were so worried about..Yae !! But that night all the roads were closed but Yae we got to stay and the starlight foundation that Halli is in because of her having cancer had tickets to a Phoenix Coyote Hockey game and we got to eat at the reatuarant Margariteville which was a really cool place.It was an awesome game a couple of fights and they won !!
We stayed with Jullee and then the next morning we headed back up the mountain which took us 7 hours to drive SCARY !! We stopped at Bashas in Taylor on the way home and when we got back in our car they said they had closed the roads so we were very lucky to make it.. Kyri was sooo excited to see the snow tons of it she got out of the car and made a snowangel right away !!
Brenley's eye had stayed infection free for the next 3 weeks THEN we went down to the valley for Halli's appt and Wacey's state wrestling which will be in another post..We ate at Texas Road house with Casey and Kellee we had a hour and half wait and the kids had a peanut war...the peanut dust got in his eye OUCH !! He then rubbed it, we noticed it being swollen some so we started putting more medicine in it..He stayed with Aunt Jullee and did great that day while we were at the wrestling match we then headed home and when we almost got home we seen him rubbing it more and he started screaming..He then went to bed and the next morning it was swollen shut and RED !! We then headed back down to the valley and met a dr. at Phoenix Childrens and he had rubbed 2 stitches out of his eye..We got to come back home but we had to put meds in every 2 hours until his surgery which was that next Wed. On the way home we ate at Cattalac Ranch restuarant not so good food but a cool place..
Also I forgot to mention at one of his appts. we took him down to , we like to take them to somewhere fun we took him to Cabellas which you would of thought it was Disney Land he loves that place !!! LOL We will talk about surgery in another post here is some pic. of the fun !!

Christmas 2010

Christmas Eve we got together with the Wood family and had a wonderful day and night as a family.. My favorite part was going around the room and talking about what we were thankful for..There is so many things we are all thankful for I wish I wrote them down and could share them with you..But most of all we are so thankful for our Savior and the birth of him and the example he is to us..Christmas morning was fun the kids were excited for there gifts and to see what Santa brought.. I love seeing there sweet faces full of excitement.. that day the kids wanted to go up and say bye to the cousins which were all leaving that day so I let them go up and Kyri and I stayed home and played moon doughh..Ty had to work so I thought we could have a nice dinner that night and spend the night with the family.. Well things change sometimes and change fast... Brenley got a new pocket knife from Grandma and like alot of boys do he thought it would be cool to take his knife and have it stick into the ground he did it a couple of times but then it hit a rock and came back and got his eye.. I got the call that I needed to come get Brenley and take him up to the emergency room which I did not take well I just started screaming !! There is nothing worse then seeing your babies (kids) hurt and we have had our trials with this with Halli cancer, Kyri sleep apena, Wacey's knee, and now this !!! I took him up and then they decided that we needed to take him down to Phoenix Childrens Hospital.. Ty came home I met him at the house and off we went Christmas day down to the valley.. Brenley had surgery he got 5 stitches is his eyeball..Santa came to him that night in the hospital and brought him some more gifts which he thought was so cool !!!
Going back to Christmas Eve when we talked about what we were thankful for I told a story about how I am so thankful for the gospel in my life and the power of prayers.. I talked about the waiting room at Phoenix Children hospital and seeing people in this waiting room waiting for there children and wandering if they know that there Heavenley Father is there for them and that they can pray to him.. Well once more I AM THANKFUL FOR PRAYER AND MY HEAVENLY FATHER because I sat in that waiting room the very next day after telling this story I prayed and prayed for my sweet baby Brenley !!

NAU football game !!!

For Ty's birthday we all went to a NAU football game !! Why NAU ? NAU is where Ty and I fell in love !! We had the best time there, we lived right on campus and had our son Wacey in Flagstaff ..One of our frequent dates was going to a NAU football game..The kids all pitched in money and payed for there dad !! The kids loved it maybe it can be a tradition to go every year. I hope so !!

Hallie Jean Wood student of the month !!

Wow our sweet Halli was the student of the month !!! Each month they have a theme and they pick out the student that best fits this theme hers was caring.. This I think is the most perfect one for Halli she is so caring to others always helping other people and trying to make them smile !! We love Halli you are a sweetheart !!!Also because she is secretary her and the president and vice president helps put on the show for the parents and kids.. Halli goes up in front everybody and starts the decleration !! What a awesome thing to be able to do I love my children to be part on Patriosm !! OH one more thing every friday that these assemblies has happened there has been a theme twice it was blue and white for LOBO spirit she wore her brothers foot ball jerseys and one painted blue hair another a blue wig, once it was Halloween she was up there in her Halloween costume and this one was dress like Christmas, she looked sooo cute !!!

White Mountain Jr. High wrestling finals

On December 4th they had there Jr. High wrestling finals. This year it was in Heber. There is 11 schools that comes to this wrestling finals it is a really big thing here up in the mountains..Last year Wacey cut his knee open one week before and could not go he was so bummed since he was undefieted last year... This year Wacey lost 2 and won 8 during the season which we think him losing those matches were very good for him, it humbled him and he watch the video and learned from those matches.. Well Wacey did awesome this yr at the finals he came in 1rst place, he was so excited , he said this was so much better then winning state freestyle wrestling in the valley..Here is some pictures of the fun !!

I have not been real good about posting everything, our family is so busy I can't keep up with it all, in October we went for an appointment it was a year from her last chemo and we have been so blessed with wonderful news that it is clear, everytime we go down for these appt. it is so scary but of course Halli is amazing and always have tons of faith, they watch her closely because there is a chance that the cancer may come back , but this time we have had wonderful news and feel soooo blessed, after her appt. we took Halli to Texas Roadhouse to eat and the waiter asked how we have been and Halli told him about her news so the waiter after we had ate he surprised her with some ice cream and they had her sit on the saddle like they do for birthdays and they announced her great news it was so cool!!! Also Halli recieved perfect attendence the first quarter, and superintendents list which means all her grades were 95% and above..we are so proud of her, she makes my testimony grow each day watching her loving life, always happy, and sooo much faith !!!

Brenley gets baptized

Brenley Tyler Wood November 27th 2010 gets baptized and becomes a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.. We are so proud of our Brenley he is such a sweet boy with a great personality he is so funny and he is so kind..

Wacey and Halli's Birthdays

Wacey turned 13 this year a big teenager he is !!! We had a party at the pioneer park with some of his friends they had a blast it was really cold but they still had fun.. and Halli turned 11 years old we took her to pizza factory with 4 of her friends she wanted more to come but I only could fit so many in my van and it was up in Show Low.. They gigggled and danced and ate pizza..here is some pictures.

I love Halloween, it is a great time for the kids and I love how excited they get picking out there costumes, going to the pumpkin patch, carving pumpkins, making Halloween cookies and of course trick or treating..this year also we had a get together with the Kay family on Sunday and ate breakfast for dinner yummy pumpkin pancakes and all of the other yummy breakfast stuff... then we talked about geneology I love my kids learning where they come from I am thankful for John and Bev getting these parties organized and teaching us about our families...here is alot of pictures of the fun..

I am so behind in blogging my sweet Brenley turned 8 years old in September he is such a fun guy.. we love him he makes us laugh every day.. He was so excited to start scouts and I am his scout leader so that is fun !!! This year Halli and Wacey are playing soccer, since Brenley is playing football and his games are on Saturdays he is not playing...They are both loving it but Halli is especially she says I am going to play soccer every year for now on... I think this is her favorite sport and she has an awesome coach Bubba Pringles he went to college at Scottsdale and now waiting to go on his mission so he came back home to coach.. The kids have a blast and we make it a family outing..this year ended not so good a tree fell on Ty and he broke his leg and knee and some other damage he is going to get a MRI tommorrow and we will hopefully know more and can get everything fixed..this year also I canned some pears and peaches and some jam with the help of my friend Noelle. We are so excited to have some fresh fruit bottled for the winter..we may need it after all the doctor bills..lol.. here is some pictures of the fun..

Well school started !! Wow I can't believe how time flies the kids are growing up so much. Cody is a big Senior wow that is crazy. Wacey is in the 7th grade, Halli in 4th and Brenley in the second.. and we still have our sweet little Kyri at home a couple years..Also both Wacey and Brenley are playing football GO LOBOS!!! here is some pictures of these cuties..

Halli's Election Day

Wow what a great day this was for our sweet Halli.. Halli ended up winning the election for secretary she is so excited and ready for the job .. She had some great competition and Halli wanted all of the others to win too.. Quinten Turley was really close behind when they counted which Halli just loves the Turley's she thinks Quinten's dad is the coolest... he helped with the Auction that they had last year for Halli and he let her even Auction off some things off. Quinten and Halli has never been in the same class but for years we have been around him because both of them have the same age brothers. We see them everywhere and you never see him with out a smile on his face...Trevor Willis is in her class and have been in other classes together before, they are great friends she said when they said Halli's name he clapped that is so sweet of him and Dallin Decker is her teacher's son and they have known each other for years went to preschool together, in the same ward for years and was in the same class last year, he has always been so kind to Halli.. We are proud of our little Halli she is a sweet girl and very responsible..She is so excited about life and is always smiling and laughing.. I think she understands life more then alot of us will ever.. she is such a great example to us, WE LOVE YOU HALLI!!! What a great thing to accomplish for her. One year ago she was in a hospital bed getting chemo not understanding what all was going on and now to be back to school and having the courage to get in front of people,she is awesome.. She did a cheer which was very cute , it is on this video I hope you can hear it !!!

Eager Days is so much fun we love to go to this little rodeo they have alot of fun things for everybody..It was sooooooo muddy but still fun.. Kyri was so cute she even got her picture in the paper doing the stick horse race. When she pulled the ribbon off the goat she laughed and laughed soo cute..Wacey came in first in the Hay Bale Rolling.. both boys bucked off this rodeo but you can't always come in first when it comes to rodeos..Halli roped her dummy in the dummy roping it started raining and Hailing so they moved it under the bleachers.. We just love the 24th of July weekend it is so much fun..parade,rodeo, plays, park,fireworks and family..I have tons of pictures of the fun..Wacey rode a steer in the day jackpot and came in first place, Brenley rode a calf for fun, and then Wacey rode again at the night performance and came in third place..the parade was great Kyri thought it was funny and kept on giggling so cute..we had a Wood family kickball game I think I will put those pictures on a diffrent post..Kay family picnic and We went to the beauty and the beast play it was really good but Brenley slept threw it..and then the fireworks at the church bulding they were really good ..GREAT TIMES..

A Birthday surprise

this year my birthday was on a Sunday we had a nice dinner that Ty made that was so yummy, a nice day at church, and relaxing with the kids...Cody and his friends decided I needed a birthday cake so they got all the stuff and made a cake over at some of his friends apartment.. Choclate cake with out frosting it was really good I do not like frosting so it was perfect.

The Celebration

Every time we go down to the valley for Halli appt. we go do something fun and this time we clelebrated again for the good news..We first went to Jullee and the kids swam then after the appt the next day we went to Arizona Grand use to be called the pointe.. at the pointe there is a restuarant called Rustler's Roost that is tons of fun you eat good food there is a slide, and good country music to dance too..the resort is tons of fun too lazy river which is Ty's favorite, slides , wave pool and other pools..It was our summer vacation since we didn't really go anywhere this year..here is some pictures of the fun..

Halli dr. appointment

We have recieved wonderful news Halli 9 months after chemo results came back clear..We are sooo blessed , what a miracle...Halli is so amazing she always has so much faith and goes in there at the appointments with a huge smile and very confident that everything is fine... we love you Hallicat..We KNOW that thru good dr. and our Heavenly Father that this is why we keep getting wonderful news!! I took some pictures of her in the hospital and with her main doctor Dr. Hingaroni and mian nurse Sharon we have become to love them so much...LOve Halli's smile in all these pictures..

The other day we took a day trip to Greer it is so beautiful there. The kids have tons of fun just playing in the stream..They caught a couple of fish with there nets. Every Year in our little town of Taylor, Arizona they go around the town firing off a anvil waking up the town..this anvil came over to Taylor from a mormon pioneer from Utah.. it has a history of the pioneers using it in a war to scare off people..I am not sure how long it has been here in Taylor but for many many years this has been a tradition for this town . There is a parade of cars and a band that plays music and fire trucks going to diffrent spots in the town firing off the anvil..we have now made this our tradition and we love it.. we wake up at 4 and go jump on the fire trucks... this year our Halli fired off the anvil with her Uncle Clay .. when they introduced her as Halli Wood a cancer survival she got tons of yells and cheering it was great.. this will be a memory to remember...here is a movie and some pictures of the fun

Cowboy Poetry

One of our favorite things to do over the 4th of July is go to Cowboy Poetry in Taylor.. both Ty and I grew up around the cowboy ranching life so it makes since to us... I absoulutley love it they are funny and entertaining then after poems they have old fashion country music which also Ty and I grew up around great times!!!

Memorial Day Rodeo with the RV Rodeo Club

About 3 years ago we started going to this kid rodeo in Round Valley and we love it.. The people are wonderful that put it on and the kids have a blast.. The fun thing is that it is all about the kids..Through out the summer they have rodeo's and you get points and then at the end of the season they have a big award dinner with great food and fun..The kids have done real good threw out the years..last year we were not able to go to the last rodeo because we were in the hospital with Halli but Halli and I set in the hospital and watched the whole thing over the internet and then at the end we got a visit from Chancey and they presented her with the Tuffist Cowgirl Award, they had everybody at the rodeo that is in the rodeo club sign a pillow case and they had a huge load of gifts for her.. it made her day and then they talked to her over the internet very cool... Brenley was still able to come in first last year even with missing the last rodeo which was awesome..Okay now about this year the kids did AWESOME Wacey came in first in the steer riding, Brenley came in 1 rst in the calf riding which is the first time he rode a calf in a real rodeo AWESOME Brenley !! and Halli came in 3rd place in the dummy roping.... very cool.. here is some pictures of the fun...

State Freestyle Championship Wrestling at Highland High School

WOOHOOOO!!! Wacey came in first place at the state freestlyle championship for wrestling, he did an awesome job!!! Pinned everybody except one GOOD JOB WACEY!!! Brenley came in 5th place out of 15 kids he was sad because he really wanted a trophy but I thought he did good... He was just sooooo tired!!!! Brenley goes to bed at 6:30 to 7 every night and we had him up till 11:30 the night before.... OOPS!! Thats okay he will have alot of chances again !!!

Wrestling has been so much fun for the boys they love it and can't wait till the next match !!!

At the wrestling match the ufc fighter was there again and Kyri came up to him and poked him he thought that was funny this big strong guy and this tiny tiny little girl not scared of him at all... LOL!!

Also Wacey finally got to meet his hero Anthony Robles he look up to him so much...Anthony is a wrestler for ASU and he has only one leg he is amazing...

Halli 6 month appt. after her last chemo round

In April we went to Halli's 6 month check up, her mri scan and xray's. The report came back CLEAR Yae!!!!! We have been so blessed!! I can't tell you the felling we have each time we go down there worring about if the cancer is back but I can tell you the felling when we get those results back each time that they came back clear are that we are so thankful to our Heavenley Father for our blessing to this sweet girl that has so much faith, always has a smile, just loving life and everything about it!! The whole family has learned so much from all of this... We know that our prayers has been answered and with out wonderful doctors and our Heveanly Father she would not be where she is right now.. We know that we still have a long road to go but we will take day by day and live life happy and knowing that He Lives and that he is always there with us...

While we were down there we dropped off some pop tabs to the Ronald Mcdonalds house they can turn them in and earn some money to run there houses.. we stayed there some when we were down there and was so thankful for this wonderful place that helps out so many people. There has been alot of people around Snowflake and Taylor that has been saving these tabs..Halli's Uncle Clay and Aunt Debbie has helped organize getting these tabs donated to take down and Grandma Bonnie also has been passing the word and people have been bringing them to her.. So Awesome to see so many of these tabs and the smile on her face was AMAZING when she dropped them off, she wouldn't even let me carry the heavy box..

After the appt. all Halli wanted to do is go swimming she even wore her swimming suit to the appointments..We had a fun night of swimming then Chucky Cheese with cousins..

The next day we went over to Mountain View High School in Mesa and went wrestling.. there we met Anthony Robles he is an amazing wrestler that goes to ASU. He wrestles with only one leg and is amazing..We also met a ufc fighter there and got picture with him..

That Sunday back at home our little kids that our in primary Halli, Brenley and Kyri with the whole Snowflake 3rd ward primary sang the prelude music for Snowflakes Stake Confrence ...

Baseball and Softball started

A couple weeks ago baseball and softball started.. We have 3 playing and it is BUSY but we love it.. there is nothing better than to watch your kids playing it is exciting and funny too with the little ones..this is Halli's first year to play softball she is so excited and loves all the girlie stuff like the songs they sing and the cute uniforms..she played t-ball and machine pitch but for a girl it is funner to play with other girls.. Brenley is playing his first year in machine pitch he is doing really good he has hit the ball everytime, he was a little worried about that he does not like to be embarrased.. Wacey is in majors on the Marlin's again he really likes his coach and we do too.. he plays catcher and a couple of games he has pitched which is exciting last night they had a tied game 20 to 20 they all did awesome.. one thing about living in a small town you know alot of the kids so I catch myself clapping for some of the kids on the other team, Wacey has alot of very athletic kids in his age group it is fun to watch and amazed how good ALL of them all..I don't have alot of pictures I keep forgetting my camera or when I do have it I am chasing Kyri and not able to take pictures but we will get some more threw out the year..here is one of Halli and her friend Emily and Wacey with his team leaning down to say the baseball theme on opening day..
